Welcome to Modern Watch Mods LLC (“Modern Watch Mods,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of products through our online store.

By accessing our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. OUR PRODUCTS

Modern Watch Mods specializes in independently designed and custom-assembled MOD watches.

Each MOD is individually assembled using carefully selected components, which may include aftermarket cases, dials, crystals, bracelets, straps, bezels, hands, and Japanese TMI movements.

Our watches are independently assembled and are not factory-produced watches from the referenced brands or manufacturers unless specifically stated otherwise.

Any reference to a watch brand, model style, or design inspiration is intended solely to describe the style or compatibility of a component. Modern Watch Mods is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an authorized manufacturer or representative of any referenced brand.

2. CUSTOM-ASSEMBLED WATCHES

Every Modern Watch Mods timepiece is individually assembled, inspected, and prepared before it leaves our hands.

Because each MOD is individually assembled, minor variations may exist between individual pieces. These variations may include subtle differences in finishes, textures, colors, alignment, or other characteristics associated with individually assembled components.

The watch pictured on a product page represents the actual piece being offered unless the listing specifically identifies the watch as made to order.

The watch pictured is the exact piece you will receive. Each watch is individually built and photographed before being listed.

3. MADE-TO-ORDER WATCHES

Certain watches may be offered as made-to-order pieces.

Made-to-order watches have an estimated 2–3 week lead time before shipment. This timeframe allows us to obtain necessary components, assemble the watch, inspect the completed build, and prepare it for shipment.

The 2–3 week timeframe refers to the time before shipment, not the carrier's delivery time.

In some circumstances, additional time may be required due to component availability or circumstances outside our control.

Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided.

4. ORDERS AND PAYMENT

By placing an order, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order when necessary, including in situations involving suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, inventory errors, or other circumstances that may prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If an order is canceled by us after payment has been received, the amount paid for the canceled order will be refunded.

5. PRICING AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, availability, and pricing are accurate.

However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders affected by an obvious pricing or product information error.

Product photographs are intended to accurately represent each watch. Because displays and lighting can vary, colors may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen.

6. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Because our watches are individually assembled custom MODs, all sales are final. Returns and exchanges are not accepted, except where required by applicable law or otherwise expressly stated in our policies.

We do not accept returns simply because a customer changes their mind, orders the wrong item, or decides that the watch is not what they expected after purchase.

We encourage customers to carefully review product photographs, specifications, sizing, and descriptions before placing an order.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

7. SHIPPING

We offer free U.S. shipping on all watches using USPS Ground Advantage, unless otherwise stated on the product page.

Shipping times are controlled by the carrier and are separate from any stated assembly or processing time.

Modern Watch Mods is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, natural disasters, incorrect or incomplete addresses, or other circumstances outside our control.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at checkout.

For international orders, if offered, the customer may be responsible for applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

8. TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Modern Watch Mods stands behind the time, care, and craftsmanship that goes into every custom build. Every watch is carefully inspected before it leaves our hands.

Every custom MOD includes a 2-year limited warranty beginning on the date of purchase. The warranty covers defects in craftsmanship and qualifying failures of covered components or parts under normal use during the warranty period, subject to the terms below.

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

The warranty covers:

• Defects in assembly or workmanship.

• Failures of covered components or parts resulting from defects under normal use during the two-year warranty period.

• Inspection and, at our discretion, repair or replacement of a covered component or part when a claim is approved.

Warranty coverage applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

TWO FREE BATTERY REPLACEMENTS

Every watch includes two complimentary battery replacements.

These replacements are a separate customer benefit and are not limited to the two-year warranty period. They do not constitute an unlimited battery replacement service.

To request a battery replacement, contact Modern Watch Mods before sending your watch back. We will provide return instructions and confirm your watch's limited-edition number, where applicable.

Customers must follow the return instructions provided by Modern Watch Mods. Shipping instructions and any applicable shipping costs will be confirmed before the watch is sent. Battery replacements beyond the two complimentary replacements are not included unless otherwise agreed in writing.

WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the limited warranty does not cover:

• Accidental damage, including drops, impacts, crushing, or breakage.

• Abuse, misuse, negligence, or improper handling.

• Unauthorized repairs, modifications, disassembly, or tampering.

• Normal wear and tear from ordinary use.

• Scratches, dents, finish wear, discoloration, or other cosmetic deterioration resulting from use.

• Damage caused by water, moisture, condensation, or exposure beyond the watch's stated water-resistance rating.

• Battery depletion or routine battery replacement beyond the two complimentary replacements.

• Damage resulting from improper storage, improper use, or failure to follow reasonable care instructions.

• Issues arising from components or alterations introduced by an unauthorized third party.

WARRANTY CLAIMS AND REMEDIES

If you believe your watch has a warranty-related issue, contact Modern Watch Mods through our Contact page before attempting repairs or sending the watch back.

Please describe the issue and provide your order information. We may request photographs or other information to help evaluate the claim. The watch may need to be returned for inspection.

Modern Watch Mods will determine whether the reported issue qualifies for coverage under this limited warranty. If an issue is covered, we will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include repair or replacement of the affected component or part. If a claim is not covered, we will explain the reason and communicate any proposed repair costs before proceeding.

This limited warranty does not promise that every watch or component will remain free from defects throughout its lifetime. It applies only to qualifying defects and failures within the stated coverage limits.

Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

9. WATER RESISTANCE

Water resistance varies by individual watch and is stated on the applicable product listing when known.

Water resistance is not a guarantee that a watch is waterproof.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, water resistance should not be assumed.

Because our watches are custom assembled, water resistance has not been independently tested or guaranteed unless specifically stated on the product listing.

Water exposure, moisture damage, condensation, or damage resulting from improper use is not covered by the warranty unless otherwise required by law.

10. AFTERMARKET COMPONENTS AND BRAND INDEPENDENCE

Modern Watch Mods watches may incorporate aftermarket components designed to fit or complement particular watch styles or movements.

References to brands, models, movements, or design styles are provided for identification, compatibility, or descriptive purposes.

Modern Watch Mods does not claim that independently assembled MOD watches are factory-original products of any referenced manufacturer.

Our MOD watches are independently designed and assembled products.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All original content appearing on this website, including photographs, graphics, logos, written content, product names, branding, and other original materials, is owned by or licensed to Modern Watch Mods LLC and may not be reproduced, copied, modified, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission.

12. WEBSITE USE

You agree not to use our website for unlawful purposes or in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or interfere with the operation of the website.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website, systems, accounts, or customer information.

13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website may use third-party services and providers to process payments, fulfill orders, provide shipping services, host our website, analyze website activity, or provide other services.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to those providers' own terms and policies.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Modern Watch Mods LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or purchase or use of our products.

Our liability relating to any product or purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the applicable product, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time as our business, website, products, or legal requirements change.

The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

16. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
